Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori today delivered a stark message on Friday, asserting that Pakistan’s foremost requirement is economic stability, which can only be achieved by establishing a tax collection and revenue system that secures the people”s confidence.

Speaking as the Chief Guest at the certificate distribution ceremony for the 44th Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Governor Tessori implored the assembled officials to recognize the unique opportunity they have to shape the nation”s future.

The event was also attended by prominent figures including Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saif ur Rehman, alongside senior government officials and the course participants.

In his address, the Governor reminded the civil servants that they must utilize their best abilities to serve the country. He defined true success as an accomplishment that satisfies one’s own conscience and underscored that valuing Pakistan, a nation born from countless sacrifices, is a fundamental duty for every citizen.

Highlighting the nation”s inherent potential, he pointed to the significant contributions of Pakistanis in prestigious global institutions like the World Bank, Saudi Central Bank, and Emirates Airlines. He stated these achievements are a matter of pride and prove that Pakistan possesses abundant talent.

Governor Tessori asserted that this very talent, if properly recognized and valued, could steer the country onto a path of significant progress. He also shed light on pressing social issues, noting that two crore children are out of school, while another three crore attend classes without having had breakfast. In response, he mentioned that his “Governor’s Initiatives” are providing breakfast to thousands of children.

He issued a solemn reminder to the officials that they hold positions of authority for which they will be held accountable by Allah Almighty. He urged them to channel their life experiences towards public service and to actively participate in the vital work of nation-building.

The ceremony concluded with Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori and Administrator Karachi Dr. Saif ur Rehman distributing certificates to the officers who successfully completed the management course, extending their best wishes for their future endeavors.
