The Pakistani Rupee registered a slight gain against the US dollar in last week’s trading. In the interbank market, the dollar closed at 281.46 rupees, down 9 paise from its previous close of 281.55 rupees. In the open market, the dollar decreased by 10 paise, closing at 282.50 rupees. The difference between the interbank and open market rates is currently 1.04 rupees.

Changes were also seen in the value of other currencies. The Euro increased by 16 paise to 335.05 rupees, while the British Pound fell by 1.23 rupees to 386.32 rupees.

The UAE Dirham decreased by 26 paise and closed at 77.88 rupees, while the Saudi Riyal decreased by 21 paise, closing at 75.82 rupees.
