Islamabad:In Punjab, fifteen thousand schools are being converted to solar energy.
According to a report quoting an official of the energy department, in the first phase, eight thousand schools have already been shifted to solar energy. Similarly, work on alternate energy projects is also in progress to generate 27 megawatt power.
