Jamaat-i-Islami Karachi, emir Monem Zafar Khan, stated that despite the Sindh government’s education budget of 454 billion rupees, students are not receiving quality education. Due to the government’s incompetence, people are paying hefty fees to private educational institutions.

Monem Zafar Khan expressed these views at the concluding ceremony of JI’s “Read and Teach Campaign” in the Gulzar Hijri area, held at Sabri Shaheed Park, Gulshan-e-Iqbal.

He mentioned that JI’s “Read and Teach Campaign” is an excellent facility for children from poor and middle-class backgrounds. Through this campaign, children are being provided with free textbooks, making their educational journey easier.

The ceremony was also attended by emir District East Naeem Akhtar, Town Chairman Gulshan-e-Iqbal Dr. Fawad Ahmed, and other dignitaries. Monem Zafar Khan emphasized that the individuals cooperating in this campaign are commendable.

He also stressed the need to raise the Kashmir issue in negotiations with India and to restore the Indus Waters Treaty. He stated that Pakistan’s victory has encouraged Muslims worldwide, and the entire nation should remain vigilant against the evil alliance of India and Israel.
