WANA: Pakistan security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Shinwarsak, South Waziristan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), according to a report on Wednesday. According to a report, during the conduct of the operation, an intense fire exchange took place with the terrorists. At least eight terrorists with their commander Jan Muhammad alias Charagh were killed.
The security forces also recovered a heavy amount of weapons and ammunition from the possession of the killed terrorists. The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent citizens. However, during an intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Hamid Rasool (age 31 years, resident of District Rawalpindi) having fought gallantly, was martyred while another four personnel including two officers got injured. The security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
