KHUZDAR: Eighteen persons were killed and 45 injured when a Dadu-bound bus coming from Wadh area of Khuzdar fell into ditch on Khuzdar-Ratoder highway in Tehsil Karakh, some 40 kilometers away from Khuzdar, in the wee hours of Friday.
According to Deputy Commissioner, Khuzdar, Major (Retd) Bashir Ahmed, the incident occurred near the area of Balunuk, Tehsil Karakh, and some 40 kilometer away from Khuzdar when Dadu-bound bus coming from Wadh fell into ditch, resultantly, 18 persons were killed and 45 sustained injuries.
Ahmed said that the bodies and injured were shifted to Khuzdar Teaching Hospital and Combined Military Hospital, Khuzdar. The deceased and injured came off different areas of Dadu, Sindh who were proceeding to Dadu after attending the annual Urs of Pir Abdul Qadir Naqsbundi in Kaka Hir area of Tehsil Wadh, District Khuzdar of Balochistan province.
