Khairpur: A 55-year-old man was murdered near Kumb town on Saturday.
According to Kumb police, some armed persons opened fire at the house of Allah Wadhayo Sekhani in village Taju Sekhani near Kumb resulting in the death of Allah Wadhayo Sekhani, aged 55.
His body was shifted to a local hospital for an autopsy and later handed over to his heirs. The cause of the murder was stated to be an old enmity between the two groups of Sekhani community.
Police could not lodge the case till filing this story. However, they said that the investigation into the incident was underway. The incident has created tension in the area as more bloodshed is feared.
