Embassy of Pakistan in Tunis participated in two days “Annual Charity Bazaar” held in Tunis

Islamabad, December 06, 2019 (PPI-OT): The Embassy of Pakistan in Tunis participated in a two days “Annual Charity Bazaar” held in Tunis from November 30 to December 1, 2019. The event was jointly organized by International Women Group of Tunisia and the Tunisian National Chamber of Commerce of Women Entrepreneurs. Besides local entities, foreign embassies based in Tunisia also showcased their respective country’s products and tourism potentials at the event, says a press release received here today from Tunis.

Pakistan pavilion was designed to showcase Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and the country’s vast tourism potentials. The stall showcased a. variety of Pakistani handicrafts, and information booklets, pamphlets, brochures and pictures regarding touristic areas of Pakistan. The embassy officials provided useful information to the visitors about tourism opportunities in Pakistan and distributed brochures to interested visitors.

A documentary on tourism potentials of Pakistan was also screened at the event. Pakistan Pavilion attracted a large number of local and expatriates. The visitors were particularly interested in knowing about the vast tourism and trade opportunities in Pakistan. Many visitors expressed interest in visiting Pakistan. The Minister of Women, family and childhood of Tunisia, Ms. Naziha Labidi also visited the stall and appreciated Pakistan’s strong presence at the event.
