The central general secretary of Ittehad Ahle Sunnat Pakistan, Allama Ali Nawaz AlQadri, has demanded that the city of Sibi be exempted from electricity load shedding. He also called for additional salary as a bonus for the staff of NTDC and QESCO, who are providing services under severe weather conditions.
Allama AlQadri appealed to the Chief Minister of Balochistan, the Chief Secretary of Balochistan, and the Chief of QESCO to establish a workshop for the repair of transformers in Sibi, to reduce the time taken for transformer repairs.
