Ensuring justice for all Imperative for Realization the Dream of Democratic Islamic Welfare State: NA Deputy Speaker

Islamabad, September 30, 2021 (PPI-OT):Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri has said that the incumbent PTI government is the result of ideology of provision of justice as no society can progress without establishing socio-economic justice. He said that introducing Single National Curriculum (SNC) is the right step to eliminate differences in education syllabus.

He also said that the best model to be followed is the Last Holy Prophet (Peace be upon Him) and Seerat-e-Nabi have been introduced in the SNC to train our future generation on the principles of Islam. He expressed these views while addressing the participants of three days workshop on “Democratic Transition in Muslim world: Challenges and Opportunities” organized by International Research Council for Religious Affairs (IRCRA) in Islamabad today.

Deputy Speaker Said that Parliament always seeks suggestion of Islamic Ideological council (IIC) whenever introducing any legislation related with religious matter and he appreciated the positive role of IIC in this regard. He said that creation of Pakistan is the result of ideological struggle of the Muslims of Sub-continent. He said that our founding fathers Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah struggled for a country where everyone can lead life according his faith. He said that Islam is a religion of peace and harmony and abhors all manifestations of extremism and discrimination.

While talking about challenge of Islam-phobia especially in the western world, he stressed on the need of propagating the message of Peace. He also said that Pakistan always desires to have peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan as its neighbour and Pakistan would continue to support their Afghan brethren in this hour of need. Later on Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri distributed Certificate among the Participants of workshop.

Head of International Research Council for Religious Affairs Mr. Israr Madni said that the religion Islam stresses upon eliminating all kinds discrimination and it stresses upon provision equal fundamental rights for all. He also said that Islam is a religion of peace and we all need unity to propagate this message of Islam across the world.
