ISLAMABAD:Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmad Khan and Afghan Minister for Public Health Ahmad Jawad Usmani jointly inaugurated an Oxygen Production Plant installed at Muhammad Ali Jinnah Hospital in Kabul.
The plant has been gifted by the government of Pakistan to cater to the needs of the Afghan patients. Jinnah Hospital is a 200-bed, state-of-the-art hospital in Kabul, funded by Pakistan initiated in 2007 under the Pakistan Technical Assistance Programme and handed over to Afghan government last year.
On this occasion, the Ambassador Mansoor Ahmad Khan said that Pakistan has pledged one billion dollars as assistance to Afghanistan.
