Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odho inaugurated a modern Centralized Investigation Cell (CIC) on Tuesday at SP Office Liaquatabad. The ceremony was attended by DIG West, SSP Central, SP Investigation, and other senior police officers.

This investigative cell has been established with a modern approach and includes essential facilities such as an IT lab, interrogation room, witness room, and conference room. The aim is to provide investigative officers in the West Zone with an environment equipped with modern technology to make the investigation process effective and result-oriented.

The Police Chief met with investigative and technical officers and issued instructions for the use of modern technology in case investigations.

Subsequently, the Additional IG also visited other departments, including the Women and Child Protection Cell established at the SP Office. He instructed the relevant authorities to align the system with modern requirements.
