Ethiopia expresses interest to develop institutional linkages with Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Ethiopia has expressed keen interest to develop connectivity and institutional linkages with Pakistan for expanding social and economic cooperation between the two countries.

This was stated by Ethiopian Ambassador Jemal Beker Abdula while speaking at the Federation of Pakistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry here in Islamabad on Saturday.

The Ambassador said that Ethiopia has surplus tea and coffee, which can be exported to Pakistan at affordable rates. He said Ethiopian Airlines will start its operations from Karachi at the beginning of next year. Pakistani traders also expressed keen interest in buying tea and coffee from Ethiopia at affordable rates.
