The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan released updated currency rates on May 7, revealing minor fluctuations in the buying and selling prices of major currencies.
The most notable change was observed in the selling price of the Euro, which increased from 321.62 to 322.22 against the Pakistani Rupee. Meanwhile, the buying price of the US Dollar slightly decreased from 281.74 to 281.41, while its selling price remained nearly the same at 283.13.
The British Pound buying rate also saw a slight decrease, moving from 374.73 to 374.50, with the selling price increasing marginally from 378.18 to 378.97. The Japanese Yen buying rate experienced a slight drop from 1.93 to 1.92, with the selling rate remaining constant at 1.97.
The rates for the UAE Dirham and Saudi Riyal showed modest changes. The Dirham’s buying rate fell from 76.58 to 76.45, and its selling rate edged up from 77.19 to 77.29. The Saudi Riyal’s buying rate dipped from 75.16 to 74.73, while its selling rate adjusted slightly from 75.73 to 75.51.
In the interbank market, the US Dollar saw a minor increase in both buying and selling rates, moving from 281.37 to 281.47 and from 281.57 to 281.67, respectively.
