Institute of Business Management on Wednesday hosted a seminar titled ‘Impacts of Climate Change on the Natural Resources of Pakistan’ to address the pressing challenges posed by climate change.
The event focused on examining current and future impacts on the country’s natural resources, exploring policy options for enhancing climate resilience, and showcasing innovative strategies for effective climate risk management.
The seminar brought together a diverse group of speakers, including Dr. Shahid Amjad from IoBM, Dr. Atif Mustafa from NED University, and Mohammad Moazzam Khan from WWFPakistan, among others. They shared insights on policy frameworks and best practices to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change on Pakistan’s environment.
Dr. Ibrahim Zia from the National Institute of Oceanography emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts in developing sustainable solutions. Meanwhile, Dr. Nuzhat Khan highlighted the importance of integrating innovative technologies to enhance adaptation strategies.
