Family of PSA victim Maqsood Khan seeks his release

Srinagar, November 15, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the family members of Maqsood Ahmad Khan, a resident of Badgam, have denounced the authorities for his continued detention under draconian, Public Safety Act (PSA) and demanded his immediate release.

The family members of Maqsood Ahmad Khan in a media interview in Srinagar said he was arrested on March 28, this year, and was slapped with draconian PSA. The wife of Maqsood Ahmad Khan, Mubeena Begum said that the arrest of her husband has badly affected the education of three children studying in primary classes. She said that their results had been stopped due to non-payment of school fee.

Suhaib Maqsood, the elder son of Maqsood, on the occasion said becoming a doctor is his dream but the arrest of his father has disappointed him. He demanded the release of his father so that he could continue his education.
