Farooq Rehmani denounces ban on Falahe Aam Trust in IIOJK

Islamabad, June 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman of J and K People’s Freedom League and outgoing Convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has strongly castigated India’s ruling establishment for banning Falahe -Aam Trust Kashmir, an old educational and philanthropic institution, in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Rehmani in a statement issued in Islamabad said that Falahe-Aam Trust has been imparting religious, moral and scientific education to over one hundred thousand students in the IIOJK for the last half a century.

He expressed shock over the India’s draconian and uncalled for interference in public welfare activities in the territory which would ruin educational future of the Kashmiri students. He hailed equal gloom over the illegal action of the Modi regime by the Amnesty International hoping that the UN Council of Human Rights and other international humanitarian organisation would censure India for it and compel the unbridled Hindu nationalist regime of Modi to withdraw the prohibitory order against the Falahe-Aam Trust J and K.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani e-mailed a letter to the Geneva Council of HRs over police and paratroopers’ crackdown in Kulgam and another operation in Baramulla, wherein house of an innocent civilian Zahoor Ahmad Mala, Baramulla Mir Sahib old town was raided, who is already under trial in Udhampore jail.

The police also raided house of Merajdin Butt S/O Gh. Muhammad Butt of Hyder Mohalla Khoja Bagh Baramulla. He is a government employee.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said that there were valid grounds behind the threats that India under RSS led BJP had a fool-proof plan to liquidate Muslim majority of J and K within next few years. He urged the UN to adopt a solid resolution and deploy missions and military and political observers for the safety and security of minorities especially Muslims in India.

It must be noted that neither the Kashmir dispute nor the safety of 25 crore Indian Muslims is an internal issue of India. India must be warned about grave consequences in the aftermath of the Muslim-massacre in India and demographic changes in the Muslim majority Jammu and Kashmir, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani emphasised.
