Federal Government must focus on its affairs instead of indulging into Provincial issues: Barrister Murtaza Wahab

Karachi, September 07, 2018 (PPI-OT): Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Information and Archives, Anti-Corruption and Law Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that the PTI-led federal government should focus on its own issues instead of interfering into provincial matters. In a statement he said the advisor reminded that the Education becomes provincial subject after the 18th Constitutional Amendment. “The interference of federal government into provincial subjects does not allow. No province will tolerate any move interference against provincial autonomy, he added.

The federal cabinet in its meeting had decided to revamp the higher education system in Pakistan. The advisor said and urged the federal cabinet members to read the Constitution of Pakistan and specifically 18th Amendment. “We (Sindh Government) does not want any clash with federal government. Infact the Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has also vowed to extend cooperation with federal government however we will not allow any illegal interference into provincial matters”, he concluded.
