Islamabad, June 24, 2018 (PPI-OT): Caretaker Federal Minister for Aviation Abdullah Hussain Haroon has said that all out efforts are being made to ensure the provision of best services to our valuable passengers at New Islamabad International Airport. He said that we will take up the matter with the Government to resolve the grievances and problems which the passengers are faced with at the NHA Toll plaza nearby New Airport. He expressed these views during his surprise visit to the New Islamabad International Airport on Sunday.
Besides Chief Security Officer, ASF, Airport Manager and high officials of CAA, PIA and Aviation Division were also present on the occasion. Federal Minister inspected the different sections and areas of the Airport and reviewed the flight operation and provision of facilities to the passengers. CSO, ASF briefed the minister regarding the security matters at the Airport and its vicinity. A detailed briefing was also given to the minister by officials of CAA regarding the operations and facilities provided to airlines and passengers.
Abdullah Hussain Haroon also apprised about the issues and problems which the passengers are faced with at the NHA Toll plaza nearby Airport. Minister for Aviation assured that the issues and problems of passengers would be resolved soon adding that he will take up the matter of NHA Toll plaza with the Government to resolve the grievances of passengers. He also directed the concerned authorities to ensure the provision of the facilities to the passengers as per international standards. Federal Minister showed his satisfaction with the working and operations at New Islamabad Airport.
