Islamabad, March 23, 2019 (PPI-OT): Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen M Mazari in her special message on “Pakistan Day” said that this Day not only reminds us the great sacrifices but also strives to maintain our freedom and sovereignty. In order to construct “Naya Pakistan” based on democracy, justice and tolerance, we must never lose sight of our Quaid Jinnah’s vision and his principles. It is a time to celebrate our nationhood but also a time to move towards a humane, democratic, and tolerant society, she added.
While paying tribute to Quaid, she said “Salute to our Quaid Muhammad Ali Jinnah and those who stood with him as he fought to give us Pakistan especially Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah. It is a time to rejoice the freedom of having Pakistan and to make this freedom meaningful for all our citizens”. Dr Mazari urged the Nation to develop unity in their ranks and show staunch commitment to make Naya Pakistan a successful and prosperous country.
