Federal Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, alongside key officials from the Ministry of Energy, visited Pakistan State Oil (PSO) House today to engage with pivotal energy stakeholders.
The visit aimed at fortifying collaboration and operational efficiency across the petroleum sector, underscoring the government”s commitment to a sustainable and economical energy framework for the nation.
During the visit, Malik interacted with PSO”s leadership, including Chief Supply Chain Officer Abdus Sami and Chief Strategy and Technology Officer Mohsin Ali Mangi, reviewing the company”s supply chain resilience and automation efforts. He acknowledged PSO”s critical role in maintaining a steady fuel supply nationwide and its initiatives towards renewable energy expansion. Malik also assured government support for overcoming challenges faced by PSO and emphasized the importance of a reliable energy supply for consumers.
In discussions with the Oil Companies Advisory Committee (OCAC) and a separate meeting with the Petroleum Dealers Association, the Minister focused on industry challenges, regulatory alignment, and operational issues faced by dealers. He assured all parties that their concerns would be addressed to ensure a stable energy supply chain and a balanced ecosystem serving consumer interests.
Malik articulated the government”s vision for a resilient and innovative energy sector, highlighting the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to meet the nation”s evolving energy needs.
