Islamabad, April 21, 2020 (PPI-OT): Federal Minister of Aviation Division Ghulam Sarwar Khan while chairing a high-powered meeting was briefed by the Aviation Secretary Hassan Nasir Jamy and other Senior Officers on ongoing inquiries being conducted by the Aviation Division. The Aviation Secretary informed the Federal Minister about the most pressing issues of the Aviation Division. The forum reviewed the progress on ongoing segregation of functions of Civil Aviation Authority. Ghulam Sarwar Khan instructed the Secretary Aviation to speed up the process of segregation of functions of the Civil Aviation Authority in light of the decisions taken by the Federal Cabinet.
Federal Minister also stated that this is a matter of high importance which should attended to on highest priority. Ghulam Sarwar Khan was updated on the efforts done by the Ministry to accommodate the stranded Pakistanis abroad. He showed deep concern regarding the Pakistani’s who are unable to travel to Pakistan. He reiterated his resolve to bring back the Pakistanis in the most efficient manner without putting the nation at risk. Federal Minister was also briefed about the latest SOPs developed by the Civil Aviation Authority, detailing the measures being taken by the Ministry to curb the spread of Coronavirus at the Airports.
