ISLAMABAD:First Lady Samina Alvi has urged women to ensure precautionary measures, while taking care of children and performing other household course to prevent spread of Coronavirus pandemic.
Addressing a ceremony of ration distribution among women with disabilities here Thursday, she said by observing standard operating procedure, women can protect themselves as well as their family members. The First Lady said the government is doing a lot for the welfare of persons with disability, which include reserving a quota for them in different initiatives.
She said arrangements are also being made to provide ration bags to differently abled women at their doorstep so that they can avoid the pain of coming to the distribution centers. The First Lady also distributed ration bags among women with disabilities.
