Islamabad, November 03, 2021 (PPI-OT):First Lady Begum Samina Arif Alvi has urged the business community to play their role and cooperate with the government and medical institutes in facilitating the breast cancer patients who cannot access and afford treatment. She was speaking as a chief guest at a seminar organized by Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
The first lady also called for mass awareness campaigns about the disease. Medical experts briefed the participants of the seminar about the causes, symptoms, treatment and stressed for early diagnosis through self-examination. They said early diagnosis of cancer not only saves life but the patient also has maximum chances of complete recovery.
