NAUNDERO:Five clinics and two laboratories were sealed by healthcare commission officials in Madeji near here on Monday during a crackdown against quacks.
Zahid Bhurgry, an official of Sindh Healthcare Commission told newspersons that after receiving of several complaints about running of illegal clinics and laboratories by quacks in Madeji, they conducted surprise raids to nab the accused.
But the alleged culprits got prior information and left their working places. He said five clinics and two labs located in Memon Muhalla have been sealed on Monday. But if they reopen again, FIRs will be registered against them, he added.
He said clinics which were sealed include Dr Ahsan Das, Nisar Jakhro, Zahid Ghumro and Sadiq Soomro.
