Five people, including a teenage girl, were injured during violent incidents in various districts of Karachi. In Shah Latif Town, Malir district, 17-year-old Safiya Bibi was injured by a stray bullet and shifted to a medical facility. In another incident, in Zaman Town, Korangi district, 55-year-old Rafiq was hit by a stray bullet near Babin Chowk 48-F in Korangi No. 1.5. He was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for medical assistance. Law enforcement agencies are investigating both incidents.
In other incidents of violence across the city, 21-year-old Faisal was shot and injured in New Muzaffarabad Colony, Landhi, Quaidabad district, Malir and later taken to JPMC. Another stray bullet incident took place in Liaquatabad, Central district, where 19-year-old Anas was injured near Islamia Masjid in Liaquatabad No. 2 and taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH). Finally, 23-year-old Arshad was injured during a robbery attempt in Aram Bagh, where a man named Arshad was shot while resisting robbers on II Chundrigar Road, and shifted to a medical facility. Police investigations are underway in all reported incidents.
