LAHORE:PTI leader and former Punjab minister Ali Afzal Sahi was arrested in by police in Islamabad on Tuesday in connection with a terrorism case registered against him. Ali Afzal Sahi was arrested from outside the Judicial Complex in the federal capital where he came to secure bail in the case registered at Golra Police Station of Islamabad.

Though the anti-terrorism court extended the interim bail of the PTI leader until July 3, but after he came out of the court, the Islamabad police arrested him in connection with other cases registered against him. Meanwhile, an anti-terrorism court in Lahore on Tuesday extended the judicial remand of senior PTI leader Mian Mehmood ur Rashid for another 14 days.

The PTI leader was produced in the court in connection with torching the Shadman Police Station case. The court ordered the police to bring back the accused to the court on June 27.
