Lahore, September 11, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi met with the former Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Muhammad Afzal Sahi at CMO in which matters pertaining to mutual interest, rehabilitation and settlement of flood affectees came under discussion.
CM while talking on the occasion said that the Punjab government is endeavouring to ensure early settlement of the flood affectees and the philanthropists are generously depositing their amounts in the CM Relief Fund. He stated that he appreciates the spirit of the philanthropists who are contributing their part for the rehabilitation of the flood affectees.
Pervaiz Elahi stated that medical camps are being set up in the flood affected areas to prevent infectious diseases and provide medical facilities adding that the medical teams are present for the treatment of flood affectees. CM apprised that the Punjab government in order to promote national solidarity sent ‘medical relief mission’ to Balochistan and Sindh adding that the ‘medical relief mission’ comprises doctors, paramedical staff, medicines and relief goods. CM informed that 9 trucks have been sent for the flood affectees which include medicines, food items and other relief goods.
