KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and all commercial banks of the country will remain closed for four days, according to a report on Wednesday.

According to details, banks will be closed on 23 March being a public holiday on the occasion of Pakistan Day. Likewise, banks will remain closed on 24 March (Friday) for Zakat deduction. Meanwhile, there will be holidays on Saturday and Sunday as per normal schedule. Hence, today is the last day of transactions with banks for the current business week.
