In a tragic turn of events, five people lost their lives and five others suffered injuries in two separate traffic accidents on the National Highway near Thatta on Thursday.
In the first incident, two cars collided near Dabeji, one of which caught fire. The flames claimed the lives of four individuals, including a woman. Among the deceased were mother and son, Shahzaib and Yasmeen, along with Imtiaz and Izhar-ul-Hassan. Three others, Kashif, Musso, and Sarwar, were seriously injured and transferred to the Rural Health Center Gharo for treatment.
In another incident, a speeding car collided with motorcyclists near Dhabeji in Thatta district. The collision led to the death of vegetable vendor Rafiq Bihari on the spot, while Kashif, another motorcyclist, sustained injuries.
It has been reported that the victims traveling in one of the cars were on their way to bring the new bride back home. Tragically, both the mother and son, who had recently celebrated a wedding, lost their lives in the accident.
