French president to begin Egypt visit on Jan 27

Paris France’s President Emmanuel Macron will start an official three-day visit to Egypt on January 27, for talks with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on a number of bilateral and regional issues.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the A�lysee Palace said the two leaders will discuss the crises in the Middle East, especially the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the efforts to overcome the current stalemate and revive peace negotiations between the two sides, as well as the efforts to achieve Palestinian reconciliation.

The two sides will also discuss the bilateral French-Egyptian relations and means of enhancing them, especially in the economy and other areas.
