Islamabad, July 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):The management of Capital Development Authority has conducted an operation against the illegal housing society Ghori Town and sealed the management offices of all phases of the society. Enforcement Directorate, Planning Wing, Islamabad Police and other relevant departments also participated in the operation conducted on Thursday.
According to the details, the management offices of the society were sealed as they were being used for illegal purchase and sale of plots in violation of the provisions of Capital Development Authority Ordinance 1960, ICT Zoning Regulation 1992 and ICT Building Control Regulation 2020.
In this regard, the Capital Development Authority administration through a public notice warned the general public to avoid buying plots in an illegal housing schemes and to ensure that the sponsor of the society has obtained NOC from CDA after fulfilment of required terms and condition. In this regard, citizens can also check the latest status of housing societies and details of approved layout plans from Capital Development Authority’s website www.cda.gov.pk.
Furthermore, through a public notice, the management, sellers, builders, developers, advertisers, promoters, estate agents etc. of all phases of illegal housing in Ghori Town have also been warned to refrain from buying and selling in the society. In this regard PTCL, IESCO and SNGPL have also been requested not to provide their service connections in illegal housing societies.
