Glowing tributes paid to Ghulam Muhammad Bulla

Srinagar, February 14, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have paid glowing tributes to freedom leader, Ghulam Muhammad Bulla of Sopore on the eve of his 43rd martyrdom anniversary. Ghulam Muhammad Bulla was arrested by the Indian police and killed in custody on February 15, 1975, for leading a protest rally against Indra-Abdullah Accord in Sopore.

Hurriyat leaders including Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiaz Ahmed Reshi and Ghulam Nabi War in their statements issued in Srinagar said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be accomplished at all costs. “Right from 1947, India has been trying to suppress the voice of Kashmiris by force. But neither it succeeded in the past, nor will it succeed in future,” they said.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Jammu and Kashmir National Front, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League in their statements also paid tributes to Ghulam Muhammad Bulla. They said that Bulla was martyred for opposing infamous Indira-Abdullah accord.
