Gold and silver prices tended upwards in local and international markets today, with a significant increase of Rs 7,800 in the price of one tola of gold, pushing its price to Rs 496,762.
The increase also added Rs 6,687 to the price of ten grams of gold, resulting in its new price becoming Rs 425,893 in the local market.
Globally, the price of one ounce of gold increased by $78, setting its market price at $4,744.
Silver’s price also rose locally, with an increase of Rs 373 in the price of one tola, settling it at Rs 8,445. Similarly, the price of ten grams of silver increased by Rs 320, now priced at Rs 7,240.
Internationally, one ounce of the white metal was priced at $79.61.
