Gold prices have reached a new high in the local and international markets, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola increasing by Rs 5,300 to reach Rs299,600. This surge reflects ongoing trends in the international market, where gold has risen by $53, reaching $2,868.

According to a statement by All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold has increased by Rs 4,158, bringing it to Rs256,859. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold is now Rs235,454.

The silver market also saw a rise, with the price per tola of 24-karat silver climbing by Rs36, reaching Rs3,350. Additionally, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat silver increased by Rs31.08 to stand at Rs2,872.08.

In the international market, silver prices experienced an upward trend as well, with a current price of $32.30. The changes in both gold and silver prices are indicative of broader economic conditions affecting precious metal markets globally.
