Gold prices rises in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan Friday saw an increase of Rs300 per tola despite the yellow metal losing its value in the international market.

According to a report, the price of the yellow metal declined by $9 per ounce settling at $1,839 in the international market. But in the Pakistani market, the rates of gold go high and reached the price of 24-karat gold at Rs1,83,700 per tola on Friday.

The price of 10 grams of 24-Karat fine gold increased by Rs445 and traded at Rs1,57,493. On the other hand, the price of 24-karat pure silver was reduced by Rs30 per tola to Rs2,100 per tola.
