Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a notable increase Tuesday, following a rise in international market rates.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that the price of a Tola of 24 Karat gold rose by Rs3,700 to reach Rs344,200. Similarly, 10 grams of 24 Karat gold saw an increase of Rs3,173, pricing at Rs295,096.

The spike in local gold prices correlates with a $37 jump in the international gold rate, now standing at $3,258 per ounce. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22 Karat gold in Pakistan climbed by Rs2,821, reaching a new rate of Rs270,514.

Silver prices also followed the upward trend. A Tola of 24 Karat silver increased by Rs82, reaching Rs3,482, while 10 grams of the same purity rose by Rs71 to Rs2,985. On the international front, silver prices advanced by $0.82, currently at $33 per ounce.

The association noted these adjustments reflect the dynamic nature of global precious metals markets and their impact on local pricing.
