The gold prices in Pakistan and on international markets have surged, as reported on Tuesday.

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association announced that the price of gold per tola (24Kt) in Pakistan has increased by Rs6,100, reaching a new high of Rs356,100. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 24Kt gold climbed by Rs5,232 to Rs305,300.

On the international front, the price of gold has risen by $61, reaching $3,377 per ounce. This increase reflects a trend seen across the global gold market.

Silver prices also followed the upward trend. In Pakistan, the price of a silver tola (24Kt) increased by Rs57, while the rate for 10 grams rose by Rs22. Internationally, silver prices rose by $0.57 to $33.00 per ounce.

Muhammad Qasim Shikarpuri, President of the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, while issuing these rates, emphasized the impact of interbank exchange rates on these changes. The gold and silver rates reflect the ongoing fluctuations in both domestic and international markets, impacting jewelers and investors alike.
