Islamabad, January 19, 2018 (PPI-OT):Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the present government firmly believes in right to freedom of expression and would continue to facilitate the growth of free and responsible media in the country.
She was talking to the All Pakistan Newspapers Society delegation in Islamabad. Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Journalist safety and security bill is in the pipeline, which would prove instrumental to ensuring protection and safety of journalists. The delegation appreciated the role of the Ministry in facilitating the media industry.
