Government launches web service of Pakistan Citizen Portal

Islamabad, September 09, 2020 (PPI-OT): Pakistan Citizen Web Service was inaugurated today to expand the scope of Pakistan Citizen Portal and enhance its access to the people. According to the Prime Minister Office, the decision to enhance scope of the portal has been taken on the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari inaugurated the web service.

Expansion of Pakistan Citizen Portal will benefit 80 million more Pakistanis. Earlier, the facility was available to 35 million people. The general public will have access to 8,600 institutions to register their grievances. So far, about 2.8 million people have registered with the portal. It has been decided to present Pakistan Citizen Portal APP at the next World Government Summit.
