Quetta:Additional Inspector General of Police Abdul Razzaq Cheema has said arrangements for security of Youm-e-Ashura have already been started.
He said more than five thousand personnel of police, levies force and two thousand personnel of Frontier Corps will be deployed along the route to provide security to the procession of Youm-e-Ashura while three battalion of Pak Army will be on stand-by.
Addressing a press conference with Deputy Commissioner Quetta Major (retd) Aurangzeb Badini and the authorities of FC Balochistan, Abdul Razzaq Cheema said survey of hotels and shops on the route of procession had been conducted one month earlier, adding that these shops and hotels would be sealed on Youm-e-Ashura.
