Islamabad, July 01, 2021 (PPI-OT):Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib says the government has initiated several public welfare programs and taken significant steps to alleviate poverty in the country. Talking to a private television channel, he said the government is taking care of poor families and providing their loan at low mark up for construction of their houses.
The State minister said a large number of people had applied for loan to the tunes of 100 billion rupee in total, out which loan application to provide 30 billion rupee loan have been approved. The minister urged the Opposition parties to come forward and support the public welfare projects of the government for uplift of poor segment of the society.
