ISLAMABAD: Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said efforts are underway to convert universities to solar energy in the province.
He stated this while addressing the inaugural ceremony of a Solar Wall at University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore on Monday.
He said the government has also fixed a target to ensure provision of clean drinking water at the universities. He stressed the need for evolving a water policy to tackle the looming water threats in the country.
