PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman on Wednesday said police played an exemplary role in maintaining law and order situation in the province along with security forces. He said KP police fought the war on terror and sacrificed their lives. He said martyrs are our assets and we cannot be indifferent to them.
Governor said police faced a tough situation which gave them more encouragement. The role of the police department in establishing a peaceful society and rooting out crime is of utmost importance, he added. He said KP police has always had an overall commendable service and role and I pay homage to the sacrifices of police martyrs.
