Karachi, February 11, 2020 (PPI-OT):Governor Imran Ismail today visited the Port Qasim Electric Power Company where he got a detailed briefing about the power plant. Speaking on the occasion, the Sindh governor said that China and Qatar have jointly made investments costing US Dollar 3 billion in the project, which now comprises up for 13 per cent of the overall power needs of the company.
He said that any nation is welcome to make the investments under the project and further added that the country has got the potential of producing more electricity than it requires. He also said that there would not be any load-shedding during the summers this year.
