Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori today visited the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, to pay his respects. During his visit, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori laid a wreath of flowers at the Quaid’s grave and offered Fateha. He also penned his thoughts in the guestbook placed at the mausoleum.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Tessori emphasized the commitment to nurturing the nation according to the great leader’s vision, stating, “In line with the vision of our great Quaid, we are dedicated to strengthening the homeland. The entire nation is always ready to defend Pakistan.”
He further highlighted the significance of September 6th, saying, “On this day, our brave sons thwarted the evil designs of the enemy through their unparalleled sacrifices. Today, we pledge to give our all for the defense of our beloved nation.”
Later, while addressing the media, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori remarked, “On Defence Day, we have sent a strong message to adversarial forces. Those promoting narratives of hatred should know that we stand united. Under the green and white flag, the entire nation expresses solidarity with our armed forces and their martyrs.”
Tessori also shared that the largest stage in Pakistan’s history had been prepared at the Governor House to commemorate Defence Day, reflecting the nation’s tribute to its heroes.
