Quetta:Provincial Cabinet in its meeting held on Wednesday with Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan in the chair accorded approval for bringing some amendments in Balochistan University of Medical Health Sciences Act, 2017.
Previous position of Bolan Medical College has been restored. Principal and staff of Bolan Medical College and its Dental Section will be under the administrative control of Provincial Government.
Separately, syndicate University of Balochistan recommends initiating proceeding against Dr. Javed Iqbal, Ex-Vice Chancellor, University of Balochistan by instituting a Judicial Commission. Syndicate, University of Balochistan has also recommended that all awards/ titles given to Dr. Javed Iqbal, Ex-Vice Chancellor, University of Balochistan be withdrawn, if found guilty.
