Govt committed to conducting fair polls: Solangi

QUETTA: Murtaza Solangi, Federal Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, has said that caretaker government was committed to conducting fair, transparent and impartial elections in the country.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club with Jan Achakzai, Caretaker Minister for Information Balochistan and others here on Friday, he said election across the country would be held on February 08, 2024. He said that situation of stock exchange was improving day by day, adding that some elements were spreading propaganda that case of Pakistan was not on the agenda of International Monetary Fund (IMF).

“Report of Bluemburg says that IMF’s meeting of January 11 is about the agenda of Pakistan”, said he, adding that country was moving towards stability. He said that PTV Bolan, which was broadcasting Balochi, Pashtoo and Brahvi languages programmes, would also broadcast Hazargi language programmes. On the occasion, Abdul Khaliq Rind, President, Quetta Press Club and others were also present.
