Govt making all out efforts to further strengthen ties with Muslim countries: Asad Qaiser

Islamabad, December 08, 2020 (PPI-OT): Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser says the government is making all out efforts to further strengthen ties with Muslim countries and ensure unity in the Islamic world.

He was talking to Special Aide to Prime Minister on Interreligious Harmony and Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi in Islamabad.

Asad Qaiser said the acknowledgement of Islamabad’s stance on Namoos-e-Risalat and Islamophobia at the OIC meeting is a great success of Pakistan.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan has dispatched letters to the world leaders and making coordination with them against the blasphemous caricatures published in France.

The Speaker said efforts are being made to ensure legislation at UN forum against blasphemy and desecration of heavenly religions and scriptures.
