Islamabad:Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Health Services Dr Faisal Sultan has said the government has prepared a comprehensive strategy to check the spread of HIV AIDS.
Addressing an event here on Thursday, he said the strategy envisages prevention, treatment and diagnostic measures. He assured the government will provide funds to make the strategy successful.
The SAPM said that we will also have to enhance the capability of our healthcare system to control infections. He said auto-destruct syringes have been introduced and this intervention will greatly help check the spread of HIV and Hepatitis.
